​The Yellow House Rejuvenation Project is a collaborative effort between European Profiles and YTL Foundation aimed at revitalizing the Yellow House in Ampang, Selangor. This initiative focuses on transforming the aging building into a vibrant community hub that supports refugees, the homeless and urban poor communities.
European Profiles brings its expertise in sustainable building practices to the project, ensuring that the renovation incorporates eco-friendly materials and innovative design solutions with insulated metal roofing supported by bamboo structures and translucent sheets manufactured from 100% recycled mineral water bottles. ​​​​
European Profiles through YTL Foundation has provided significant financial support, matching funds raised by Yellow House to kickstart the renovation.​
The rejuvenated Yellow House will feature new facilities, including a co-working space, a farm-to-fork initiative, and a repair café, all designed to empower and uplift the local community.
This project not only aims to improve the physical space but also to create a lasting impact on the lives of those in need, making Yellow House a beacon of hope and support for many years to come.
